In A Perfect World, There’d Be No War.

But as we all know, we don’t live in a perfect world. With that stated, it is unrealistic to expect nations not to go to war. As long as we have terrorists (like the “Islamofascists”), or trigger happy nations in the west, we will still have war. One cannot escape the fact that war is unavoidable at times (like Word War II). A nation must protect itself when it needs to. So I would ask, what exactly have we gained with the current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan?

Two songs come to mind when I think of the loss of life (both American and Iraqi). Enjoy:

Wyclef Jean: ‘Fortunate Son’  A favorite tune of mine

YouTube – Bob Dylan – Masters of War Let’s face it, Bob Dylan was a musical genius.

  1. Richard says:

Fortunate Son is a Creedence Clearwater Revival song. That’s ironic, since it’s all “this is swamp rock and we’re all blue collar from the bayou and stuff” when in fact they were all from San Francisco, and were white collar middle class.

I take it you don’t like hippies, LOL? Btw, Creedence Clearwater Revival certainly had me fooled.
