When you think of hate crimes, what type of criminal comes to mind? A young white male? According to a post I found over at LaShawn Barber’s blog, that’s not the case. Black and Latinos are both the perpetrators and victims of the majority of hate crimes in Los Angeles. Is anyone surprised? I’d like [...]

Here’s a little something I received via a bulletin yesterday. It highlights the importance of relationships between women. The author remains a mystery, but it makes a very bold assertion. I’ve highlighted some things that stand out the most.
A young wife sat on a sofa on a hot humid day, drinking iced tea and [...]

I just saw an excellent video about a street evangelist’s conversation with a homosexual. Notice he did not nag on about the gay issue, but kept things pure. I’m not an evangelist, but anyone can recognize that it was the proper strategy. To view the video, check out StreetFishing.

Ok, I went to see Dark Night today. It was a bit on the longish side, but excellent nonetheless. Heath Ledger, who played the Joker, was a marvellous actor. A sign of good acting is when the actor can make you forget about who they are in real life. Christian Bale (Batman), Morgan Freeman, Gary [...]

A few posts ago, I wrote about multicultural holy rolling (pretty catchy title eh?). I should add that I’ve seen people in non-Christian services mimic the same type of movements Christians would call “praise and worship.” Last night, I stumbled across the video below:
Supposedly, these people are affiliated with Todd Bently, but I could not [...]
