Apparently not…
Messence…err…Essence Magazine had something appropriate and fun for once. In case you aren’t familiar, Essence is a magazine for black women that has been around since the early 70’s. They recently asked their readers to identify their multicultural crushes. It’s no secret that black women are said to dislike nonblack men…especially white men. Contrary to popular belief, some of us strongly resent the stereotype. We have our interracial celebrity crushes. The men on the Essence Multicutural Crush list includes hotties like:
Adam Rodriguez (not surprised–yummy)
Zac Efron (I was surprised not only because he’s on the list, but that he’s also Jewish)
Shia Labeouf (not bad at all, in fact, quite an attractive face)
Jesus Luz (another Latin hottie–check out his eyes)
Arjun Rampal (Bollywood hunk)
Daniel Henny (cute Asian/Caucasian)
They forgot my faves Johnny Depp, John Mayer, Gerard Butler (got hooked while watching 300), John Mayer, Ricky Martin, and did I mention John Mayer?
The thing I liked most about the list is that it includes men from various races instead of just one…variety is best!

John, I’m not sure what you are used to when posting on other blogs by black women but I don’t allow kneegrows to leave comments on my blog. This thread is about NONBLACK MEN who are considered attractive by black women. Not black men’s hurt feelings.
