I just read over on Black Voices that Ms. Union is in the November issue of Maxim (I will not link to them for obvious reasons). This is dissapointing since I had respect for Union as a black woman who is breaking into the mainstream. I recently found out that she has in fact posed completely nude before. Black women need to advance but this is NOT the way to do it. Don’t get the wrong idea, I am happy for her since she is a black woman (WHO LOOKS BLACK, BTW) who is living her dream. What I find depressing is that we don’t seem to be able to make it in the entertainment industry without being overly sexual. A white woman can make it whether she acts like a slut (Meghan Fox, Britney Spears) or a saint (Jodie Foster, Sheryl Crow).
Again, I respect Ms. Union but she is not representing black women well at the moment.

I mean come on! Try harder people. I met a Ugandan Christian woman whose daughters were gang-raped and had their tits cut off and were set on fire, and her sons were forced to kill and then drafted into the LRA as child soldiers; then she lived for years on a starvation diet in a tent surrounded by thousands of others in a refugee camp in Kenya, then with one son to Canada where her child-soldier son became a pimp and dope-dealer and was killed in a gang shootout. I wish Black women took their clothes off more. In fact I wish I could see more older women take their clothes off more. Women and men are victims but the inhuman vision created by the media is a mental illness they’ve tried to capitalize on.
Let’s face it, smell is the biggest attraction. Pheromones , baby. Can’t bottle clean sweat which comes from good eating and grooming habits, It’s personal. You can deny it but can’t buy who your attracted to, that’s just nature way. Aging is a natural process and I am now enjoying the same old game of man and woman that has been played since time began. Take care of your self and you quality over quantity becomes an attraction. Illusion is what’s being sold today but there is history and experience older flesh has. Plus the time it takes to enjoy it is the best part because there is no electricity needed. The old children’s song, “Head and shoulder’s, knee’s and toes”,
